Call for Proposals

The Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) of the U.S. Department of Education invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2008 OSEP Project Directors’ Conference to be held in Washington, DC on July 21-23, 2008. This year’s conference will provide opportunities for you and your colleagues to explore issues regarding preparation, research, technical assistance, technology, and policy and their implications for improving results for children with disabilities. This combined conference will include keynote/plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and numerous large panel and small concurrent sessions, as well as a poster session, and networking opportunities.

All attendees of the 2008 OSEP Project Directors’ Conference are invited to submit proposals for breakout sessions and the poster session. Proposals for breakout sessions will be accepted from conference attendees only. The lead presenter must be either a current OSEP grantee or a current CSPD coordinator.

If you are planning to submit a proposal for a breakout session, please note that the requirements have changed. Go to the Breakout Session submission page and review all of the requirements and criteria for submission and plan your proposal accordingly.

Note: The submission deadline is Friday, May 16, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. EST. We encourage you to begin planning your presentation immediately to meet this deadline.
